TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ALADYN COSTUME RENTALS

1. ALADYN Theatrical Costume Rentals declares that its statutory activity is costumes and other accessories renting, referred to below as “costumes”, to individual clients and institutions, hereinafter referred to as “customer”.
2. Costume rental can be made based on valid ID with photo. At the time of renting, the customer is obliged to present the above-mentioned document in the original and provide other data necessary to sign the lease agreement.
3. A customer who does not carry a valid ID can rent a costume in ALADYN Theatrical Costume Rentals only by leaving a deposit for the costume in cash, which is the equivalent of the costume and is determined by the employee of ALADYN at the time of rental. The deposit starts from 10,- (ten) up to several thousand zlotys (PLN). The deposit will be returned to the customer not reduced if at the time of returning the costume is in a non-deteriorated condition (as in initial condition) and is returned in the time specified in agreement.
4. In connection with the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ALADYN Costume Rentals informs that your personal data is collected and processed only for the purpose of the lease agreement, and after its execution and settlement, it is completely removed. Costume Rentals ALADYN stores contractors’ data only for the needs of bookkeeping ( 6 section 1, Paragraph a) of the General Data Protection Regulation: in accordance with this Regulation, the processing of data is lawful if consent has been granted and it is being processed within the scope of granted consent.
5. The rental period begins when the customer receives the costume from ALADYN Rentals and lasts until the costume is returned to the ALADYN Rentals.
6. The date of returning the costumes is determined at the time of rental and given to the customer on so-called “return card”. The deadline for returning at the rental is not to be exceeded.
7. The basic price for costume renting includes so-called Studio rent day i.e. collection of the costume the day before the event and returning the day after, during ALADYN opening hours. The exception is the Carnival period when the Studio rent day ends the day after the ball by 12 am. (first two hours of ALADYN opening hours).
8. The extension of the costume rental period may only take place with the consent of the ALADYN employee. The customer is obliged to promptly inform ALADYN employee about the wish to extend rental period at the latest before the expiry of return period agreed upon.
9. At the time of rental, the Customer pays a fee for the rental period agreed with the ALADYN Rental, according to the price list. In the event of agreed return period extension, ALADYN Rentals will charge an additional fee in the amount of the next rental amount multiplied by the extension period.
10. ALADYN Costume Rentals provides adult costumes reservation throughout the year and children costumes reservation throughout the year excluding the Carnival period (from New Year’s Eve to Mardi Gras).
11. Reservation expires on the next business day from the date of rental period if the costume is not picked up. ALADYN Rentals reserves the right to rent such costume to another customer without informing the customer who previously reserved and did not collect the costume on time.
12. ALADYN Rentals reserves the right to charge in advance for reservations at special dates, e.g. New Year’s Eve. Reservation canceling is equivalent to deposit loss.
13. We grant the discount only based on the “Discount Card” shown at the time of the costume rental.
14. ALADYN Rentals is obliged to prepare a costume for the customer in good condition, fit for use, without hidden defects. ALADYN Rentals is obliged to inform the customer about any possible damage before renting. When deciding to rent, the customer is required to check the quality of the costume. In the absence of any objections regarding the costume, the Lessee accepts its condition as “intact”.
15. Customer agrees to use costumes in accordance with their purpose and not to change or modify them without the consent of the ALADYN Rentals. The customer bears full legal and material liability on the costume until it is returned to the ALADYN Rentals.
16. By renting a costume from ALADYN Rentals, the customer undertakes to return the costume intact and unchanged to the condition before the rental. Customer bears financial responsibility for any damage (beyond normal wear) caused by the fault of the customer.
17. The costume is considered returned when the customer gives it to the employee, the employee checks the condition and evaluates it as “undamaged”, then issues a confirmation of the return, which is the Customer’s Discount Card.
18. The customer bears financial responsibility for missing costume or its missing parts.
19. The cost of damage and/or disappearance of the costume and/or its parts starts from 10,- (ten) up to several thousand zlotys (PLN) and is determined by the employee of the ALADYN Rentals at the time of returning the costume to the Rental. At the time of rental, the customer has the right to ask the Rental’s employee about possible costs of the costume’s damage, and the Rental employee is obliged to answer such question.
20. ALADYN Theatrical Costume Rentals prohibits washing, ironing and altering costumes that are its property.
21. The customer undertakes to return costumes not washed. The cost of any damage resulting from improper washing of the costume is borne by the customer.
22. In the case of returning the costume soiled beyond normal use, the customer undertakes to cover the cost of specialized wash, which starts from 30,- (thirty) up to 100,- (hundred) zlotys (PLN) for the costume and is determined by the employee of ALADYN at a time of return to Rentals.
23. ALADYN Rentals reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings in all cases of non-return of the costumes in the long term and in the absence of contact with the customer who falls behind with payment.
24. Copyrights – ALADYN Theatrical Costume Rentals declares that all information, photos and other materials contained on www.aladyn.waw.pl are the property of ALADYN Rentals and are protected. Copying, reproduction and distribution is prohibited and requires written permission.
25. ALADYN Theatrical Costume Rentals informs that its trademark is a registered mark and is subject to patent protection.
26. At the time of costume renting from ALADYN Rentals, the customer declares that he is familiar with these regulations and fully accepts its terms.
